About These Terms
These terms cover your use of forestry.lk and enquiries made through it. The website is run by The Forestry, an eco-retreat in Belihuloya, Sri Lanka. By using the website you agree to these terms.
Enquiries Are Not Bookings
Sending an enquiry through Plan your stay, email or WhatsApp does not reserve a room, treatment or excursion and does not create a booking. Nothing is charged online. We will reply to confirm availability, rates and any payment or deposit needed. Your booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing.
Rates and Information
Rates, durations and other details on the website are indicative and may change. The rates and terms that apply to your stay are the ones we confirm to you in writing. We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but it may occasionally contain errors, and photographs are for illustration.
Cancellations and Changes
Payment, deposit, cancellation and change terms for your booking are confirmed to you in writing with your booking. Please read them before you confirm.
Treatments and Activities
Ayurvedic treatments, yoga and excursions are offered for general well-being and are not a substitute for medical advice. Please tell us about any health conditions, injuries, allergies or pregnancy before a treatment or activity, and follow the guidance of our staff and guides. Treks, river bathing, kayaking and other outdoor activities carry natural risks. You take part at your own discretion and are responsible for choosing activities that suit your health and fitness. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
During Your Stay
The Forestry is set in natural forest beside two rivers. Please respect the grounds, wildlife, other guests and our neighbours, follow any safety notices, and look after your belongings. We may ask a guest to leave if their behaviour puts others or the property at risk.
Use of the Website

You may view and share pages for personal use, but please do not copy or reuse content without our written permission. Do not misuse the website, for example by trying to disrupt it or sending automated or false enquiries.
