Designed as a harmonious escape into nature, our camp blends sustainability, rustic charm, and modern comforts to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Here, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of Sri Lanka’s countryside while enjoying healthy, farm-to-plate cuisine that highlights the authentic flavors of the island.

With accommodations for a maximum of 16 guests, The Forestry Camps offers eco-friendly living spaces that prioritize comfort and tranquility. Rooted in sustainable principles, our retreat focuses on agricultural practices for sustenance, shelters crafted from natural and upcycled materials, and reliance on pure, natural water sources.

The Forestry Camps is a riverside Campground in Belihuloya- SRI LANKA, nestled on 7 acres of lush forest, rice-fields and organic vegetable gardens, serving healthy and authentic farm-to-plate Sri Lankan cuisine.

The Property can host a maximum of 16
1 X Treehouse with ensuite Bathrooms (Hot-water Shower)
4 X Eco Chalets with ensuite Bathrooms (Hot-water Shower)
1 X Tent Deck with shared Bathroom

Going back to the roots of Agriculture for Sustenance, Natural/Upcylced Materials for Shelter and Natural Sources of Water, The Forestry aims to be your rural getaway in the middle of nowhere.

 Verified 5 Stars for the staff This accomodation was booked by the travel agency, which organized our Sri Lanka trip. It turned out to be one of our favourite stays. The tree house had a terrace, where we could watch animals (monkeys, peacocks, birds, ect) but also lay down and have a nap. The Camp also has a river to take a bath. The staff needs special thanks as they were also just SO KIND and took care of us like no other accomodation/team throughout our whole Sri Lanka trip. Clear recommendation! :)

 Verified An extraordinary place and a green oasis. Excellent local food, beautiful huts to sleep in surrounded by nature, natural rock pools to swim in, an open area overlooking the river to do yoga, hiking to Bakers Bend and swimming in a private waterfall. Plus Graham as an excellent host and his entire team who looked after us wonderfully at all times. We were delighted and will definitely come back. Our highlight on the Sri Lanka tour.

 Verified Tranquil Retreat Loved every minute of it! Breath-taking setting, right in the heart untouched nature. The place was so peaceful with waterfalls, secret pools, tree houses and stunning scenery. Our room was super cosy and opened out to gorgeous views of the forest. The food was tasty and fresh and Graham and his team really looked after us. Cannot wait to come back and spend more time exploring!

 Verified Never been anywhere like this before! Never been anywhere like this before! Feels remote enough that you can relax and disconnect, but actually easy enough to get to. Incredible home cooked food (best kiri hodi I've ever had!) and the room was so comfortable, with the most incredible views to wake up to. We were already planning our return whilst we were there, wish we'd gone for at least 2 nights instead of just 1. 100% recommended!

 Verified Unique ! Fantastically beautiful! The chalets have no doors or windows, so you sleep and wake up to the sounds of nature. Graham and his team take great care of their guests. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much!
